Roswell-Chaves County Economic Development Corporation Kicks Off Fiscal Year 2027 at Annual Meeting Luncheon

ROSWELL, NM – August 12, 2026 – Yesterday, the Roswell-Chaves County Economic Development Corporation (RCCEDC) officially launched its Fiscal Year 2027 operations during its 2026 Annual Meeting luncheon. Held at the Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell (ENMU-R) campus inside the ITC Building, the formal business session brought together more than 100 community leaders, organization members, and elected officials.

The annual proceedings served as the official platform for governance transitions. The RCCEDC proudly inducted its newly elected Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and incoming Board Chair. The organization also paused to honor and express deep gratitude to outgoing board members who have concluded their terms of service.

As an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO), the RCCEDC operates under strict organizational by-laws. In alignment with these governance guidelines, attendance at the formal annual meeting is structurally designated for private organization members, the Board of Directors, and invited local, county, and state elected officials.

The successful execution of this year's meeting was made possible through the collaboration and generous support of prominent local sponsors, including Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, International UFO Museum & Research Center, JP Stone Community Bank of Roswell, LP Insurance, Roswell Livestock & Farm Supply, and Terracon.
