Intel’s $3.5 billion expansion in New Mexico, announced in 2021, will enable the manufacturing of cutting-edge semiconductor packaging technologies at the site. This significant investment is expected to create at least 700 high-tech Intel jobs, 1,000 construction jobs and support an additional 3,500 jobs in the state. This hiring initiative supports our ongoing investment efforts, made possible with support from the CHIPS and Science Act.

"This collaboration exemplifies the power of public-private partnerships in driving workforce development. Through initiatives like the Engineering Hiring Event, we're collectively shaping a promising future for skilled individuals in our community." Sarita Nair, Department of Workforce Solutions Secretary, said.

As we embark on our latest expansion in New Mexico, we are proud to announce our mission to hire hundreds of skilled engineers, amplifying our commitment to innovation and growth.

"Intel's vision aligns harmoniously with our state's commitment to fostering economic prosperity. The Engineering Hiring Event stands as a testament to the vibrant opportunities that lie ahead for the workforce in New Mexico." Said Economic Development Deputy Secretary Jon Clark.

We invite candidates holding degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, and Optics to apply to join our team. Qualified drop-ins with a resume are welcome at the event, and we will be doing select onsite interviews during the event.
