Five New Mexico technology companies received up to $100,000 in state matching grants to accelerate innovations in space communications, advanced energy, aerospace, and bioscience.
The grants were awarded by the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Technology and Innovation Office through its Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Matching Grant program, which supports local for-profit science and technology companies that have secured federal SBIR/STTR funding. The grants specifically support scalable startups that can grow and diversify New Mexico’s economy.
