Mobile phones were glowing among those who attended Roswell’s first public meeting about the Comprehensive Master Plan update on Wednesday.
About 40 people — including several city and county government officials — happily pointed their phones toward big QR codes projected on two large screens. The codes led the people responding to an electronic system that took their answers and placed them with the corresponding answer each chose.
There were many options to consider and the results came through quickly.
Information in this document will cover such areas as: land use and growth management; code enforcement issues; transportation (including future road corridors beyond the city limits); utility infrastructure (including identifying areas considered suitable for annexation); parks and recreation; economic development; commerce and industry; social and economic issues; design and environment; and environmental resources and sustainability.
