Grow Your Aviation Company in Roswell & Chaves County

Major airlines, Mitsubishi & Honda, use our air center to test, repair and repurpose aircraft.

We are the aviation hub of New Mexico and offer several benefits to growing companies, including:

  • Chaves County is home to the Roswell Air Center - New Mexico’s industrial aviation hub and home to one of the longest runways in the U.S.
  • An Advanced Aircraft Maintenance Program and an AA Degree with an FAA certification draw students across the U.S., growing our available workforce in the process.
  • Apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship are in place for a steady pipeline of talent.
  • Industrial park sites are available, and there's room at the airport.
  • Incentives are available

Recent Projects

During COVID-19, major airlines brought their fleet to the Roswell Air Center, using the travel slowdown as an opportunity to complete maintenance work - something our facilities are uniquely equipped to do.

A $31 million project is creating 365 new jobs & an additional airport hanger.

Aviation Opportunities

We have an industrial park directly adjacent to the Roswell Aviation Center with direct access to the taxiway. It is in an Opportunity Zone, creating tax benefits for growing or relocating companies.
