(Albuquerque, NM) – The New Mexico Departments of Economic Development, Workforce Solutions, and Environment, as well as the New Mexico Small Business Development Center have partnered to offer a series of Virtual Discussions for New Mexico Employers. The discussions are aimed at assisting businesses as they seek to reopen in compliance with Executive Health Orders.
The first of this series will take place on Monday, June 8th and will specifically address the needs of businesses with a high-level of customer engagement such as retail, sales, food service, lodging, etc.
Resources for the following activities will be discussed:
- Staff recruitment and training needs
- Training on how businesses can modify service delivery to comply with the public health orders
- COVID-19 mitigation strategies and resources for securing PPE
- Strategies and initiatives for bolstering consumer confidence
The Virtual Town Hall will be directly available to 1,000 participants, and can be accessed via Zoom meeting or by dialing in. Meeting information is provided to participants once they register for the event.
Department experts will be on hand to provide information on frequently asked questions regarding reopening and will be answering live questions asked during the Town Hall.
