  • Parking and Landing Charges Parking and Landing Charges are established by the City Council and the following reflects Resolution #2456 adopted in June, 1999: Parking is charged as follows:
    • $ 1.75/day 0-99,000 lbs.
    • $ 4.50/day 99,001-200,000 lbs.
    • $ 7.50/day over 2000,001 lbs.
  • Landing Fees: Landing fees are $ 0.30/1000 pounds on gross take off weight (GTW) for planes exceeding 12,500 pounds GTW. Aircraft up to 12,500 GTW will be charges $ 2.50/landing.

Roswell Fire Department

  • Station No. #4 Resources
    • Roswell Fire Department Station #4 is rated as an Index A airport fire department. Capable of satisfying Index B requirements as well.

    • At flight line they have a Crash One, 2007 Oshkosh Striker airport crash truck with 35’ piercing nozzle, 1,500 gallons of water, 210AFFF gallons, 500 lbs. dried chemical and more
    • At flight line they have a Crash One, an E-1 Titan ARFF response truck with 1,000 gallons of water, 250 gallons AFFF, and 5oo pounds of Halon.
    • Also on flight line is a Crash Two, an Oshkosh M-1000 ARFF response vehicle with 1,000 gallons of water, 250 gallons AFFF
  • Also Initial Responding Apparatus:
    • Engine Two, a 1500 gpm pumper with 500 gallon water tank
    • Engine Five, a 1500 gpm pumper with 500 gallon water tank

Roswell Fire Department has 37 personnel who are fully ARFF trained, including all of those responding from Station Four, Two, and Five. They teach the 32-hour initial ARFF class every year and conduct 60-80 additional hours of ARFF training each year.
